The man who denied Mamelodi Sundowns an addition to their trophy cabinet in the 2024/25 season has thrown his support behind the Tshwane giants as they attempt to leave Cairo with the CAF Champions League title.

"Sundowns, I think their Champions League experience will see them through. I believe Sundowns will always have the ability to score goals.
"They also have the experience to shut out Pyramids. That late equaliser... it was heartbreaking to see. I'm very confident, I think Sundowns will bring it home," he continues.
The former Magesi FC tactician says he was happy to see how the visitors were restricted to a few chances.
