South Africa goalkeeper Darren Keet given permission to leave Bafana camp to be with his wife who is expecting their first child

Keet will leave for Belgium on Saturday evening after South Africa’s international friendly match against Cameroon, which will take place at the Stade de L’amitie in Libreville, Gabon.

Kick-off is at 21h00 South African time.

Keet will start on the bench against the Indomitable Lions with Kaizer Chiefs’ Brilliant Khuzwayo handed a starting berth by coach Shakes Mashaba, but is expected back in camp on Monday, 12 January in the evening.

Meanwhile, defender Patrick Phungwayo will also bid farewell to his teammates after the match as also flies out to return home and start treatment.

The Orlando Pirates left-back was withdrawn from the AFCON 2015 squad because of a knee injury.
