Bayern Munich confirm UCL last 16 spot

Bayern Munich 1-1 Celtic (3-2 on agg.)

Bayern Munich left it late to secure a 1-1 draw against Celtic and gained passage to the next round 3-2 on aggregate.

Changes by the Bavarians were instituted from the draw with Bayer Leverkusen, as Serge Gnabry, Leon Goretzka, Josip Stanisic, Raphael Guerreiro came into the staring line-up.

Bayern struggled to get going for much of the contest, and trailed around the midway stage of the second half through a curling strike from Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn.

Atalanta's dreams of a last 16 berth came crashing down after Belgian champions Club Brugge bagged a 5-2 victory over two-legs in Bergamo.

Rising star Chemsdine Talbi stunned the masses on three minutes played when he displayed supreme composure to find the bottom-corner from inside the area.

The youngster grabbed a first half brace in the opening-quarter after latching onto a rebound from Marco Carnessechi to apply an easy finish.

Atalanta were close to get back in the contest with Cuadrado and Davide Zappacosta coming close through a succession of guilt-edge efforts.

However, the Belgians proved effective on the counter-attack and saw Ferran Jutgla pounced to make it three on the brink of halftime.

SL Benfica 3-3 AS Monaco (4-3 on agg.)

Benfica overcame a relentless AS Monaco to advance 4-3 on aggregate after playing to a thrilling 3-3 draw in the second-leg on Tuesday.

The Portuguese giants hit the ground running inside the closing stages of the first half as Kerem Akturkoglu raced in at the back-post to find the back of the net.

Monaco bounced back in the matter of minutes when Takumi Minamino sneaked in to the near side of the box and drilled a layoff from Breel Embolo in off Anatoliy Trubin.

The Ligue 1 side were ahead for the first time in the match after Eliesse Ben Saghir pounced on a square pass to the box and finished with ease.

However, Benfica clawed level later on as Thilo Kehrer conceded a foul to give away a penalty which Vangelis Pavlidis tucked away comfortably.

Monaco refused to give up and were in the lead again as substitute George Ilenikhena ran in-behind the defence after Nicolas Otamendi's fluffed his lines and fired in.

The home team were in control once more a minute after conceding when Orkun Kokcu latched onto a cross-field ball to the box and finished off the far post.

Benfica got a penalty in added time after Krepin Diatta tripped Samuel Dahl in the box, but after going on review the referee rescinded the decision and saw out the clash.

AC Milan 1-1 Feyenoord (1-2 on agg.)

AC Milan crashed out of the UEFA Champions League 2-1 on aggregate against Dutch side Feyenoord in the Knockout play-off second-leg on Tuesday evening.

Milan were on course to overturn the first-leg deficit seconds in when Santiago Gimenez leaped on the end of a corner-kick to nod in from close-range.

Having the advantage at the break and start of the second half, the situation turned on the host who saw flying fullback Theo Hernandez dismissed for a second bookable offence.

It opened the way for the Eredivisie to come in their own and found substitute Julian Carranza connect with a pin-point cross to head in the equaliser.

Feyenoord did end the match with ten players too albeit at the end with Givairo Read dismissed for a second bookable offence, as the clash concluded.
