A South African footballer has been showcasing his talent and skills in Belgium alongside prospective Bafana Bafana star Shandre Campbell.
Kurt Abrahams, a South African star, has been causing a stir in the Belgian First Division's Challenger Pro League, a league in which Campbell plays for Club NXT.
In July 2024, Campbell made his groundbreaking move from Betway Premiership's SuperSport United to Belgian League champions Club Brugge.

The Matsatsantsa academy product has been doing exceptionally well for Club NXT and has now been called up to the club's first team after impressing in the club’s feeder team.
While the left foot wonderkid has attracted a lot of attention, another South African-born forward, Abrahams, has been doing well for his team, Beveren.
The 28-year-old attacker gained recognition while playing for Sint-Truidense V.V.'s under-21 team in the Belgian Pro League before moving on to KVC Westerlo and KMSK Deinze in Belgium.

In addition, the right-winger switched to Novi Pazar and FK Sloboda Užice, two clubs in the Serbian First League, before returning to Belgium to sign with Beveren in December 2024.
Since he was given the chance, Abrahams has continued to produce good showings. He has so far scored two goals and provided four assists for Beveren in 13 games this season.
Campbell's Club NXT is in sixth place in the standings with two games left, while Abrahams' Beveren is fourth in the Challenger League table.
