Man Utd stars turning against Amorim?

With Manchester United trying to salvage the 2024/25 season, the first team players are reportedly questioning Ruben Amorim and his approach since arriving at the club.

The Portuguese tactician began implementing the 3-4-2-1 system that brought him success at former club Sporting CP and that he is renowned for.

However, concerns are mounting over whether United's current squad is equipped to thrive in this setup, with their struggles amplified by a poor run of results.

According to the Daily Mail per 90min, similar concerns have been voiced within the Red Devils squad, with some players privately questioning whether persisting with Amorim's formation is the right move.

Reports suggest that players are worried about that their struggles will continue unless the manager shows flexibility in his tactical vision.

However, it is understood that Amorim has not lost the dressing room at this stage, but players are aware that the pressure will only intensify if results do not improve in the coming weeks.

Amorim, meanwhile, is thought to be keen on improving the squad by purchasing players who better suit the style of play he is trying to implement at Old Trafford.

He has already begun that process, with January signing Patrick Dorgu being brought in as an attacking wing-back, while United have also been linked with Sporting CP starlet Geovany Quenda.

The 40-year-old, however, will only be able to bring more players in at the end of the season.

Although, the English giants will be hoping that results improve as they currently find themselves 13th on the Premier League table with just 29 points after 24 matches.
