Muntari has played little club football in the last two seasons at Inter and made a surprise move to AC Milan in the January transfer window.
With AC in fine form in both the Serie A and the Champions League, there are no guarantees the Ghana international's fortunes in terms of active playing time will improve, but Muntari is not bothered.
“I am very excited to have passed from Inter to Milan. It is incredible and a major step forward for my career. This team is unique – one of the best in the world,” he said after his first training session with the side on Wednesday.
“I arrive with much enthusiasm to do well and win. I will do my job and the coach will decide where to play me, but I’m totally available.”
