Eyong Enoh enjoyed a successful playing career that had him rub shoulders with the best in the world after playing in the PSL through to the Eredivisie for serial Dutch champions Ajax Amsterdam with whom he played in the UEFA Champions League.
After Ajax, he went on to the English Premier League then had stints in Turkey, Belgium, Cyprus, and through that time played at two FIFA World Cups for Cameroon.

So, when tasked with the best XI of his former teammates, Enoh has so much of scratching of his head to do and ultimately had only one South African in his selection.
Enoh played against Real Madrid, Manchester City, AC Milan, and Juventus and his line of opponents included Ronaldinho, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Kaka but also had a long list of top teammates.

Goalkeeper – Andre Onana (now with Inter Milan): I played with him in the national team, so I think his qualities make him settle for him right away.
Right-back – Geremi Ntijap: This is an extremely difficult call for me to make because I have several players in mind who include Bryce Moon, but I will have to settle for Geremi Njitap and I hope you understand why.
Left-back – Brett Evans: I really liked him when I was at Ajax Cape Town because he functioned perfectly for the team and was reliable.

Central defenders – Jan Vetronghen and Nicolas Nkoulou: I played with several solid centre-backs who included Jan and Toby Alderweireld at Ajax Amsterdam, but I think I must settle for Nkoulou and Jan.

Central midfield – Since I'm not in the team as the person selecting this starting eleven, I will go with Alex Song for the sake of controlling. I'm sure you watched him at Arsenal, Barcelona, West Ham, and in the national team where I played with him. This position is close to my heart because I also played there.
Right midfield – I was with Christian Eriksen at Ajax, so this is a straight choice.
Left midfield – Let me see here, okay I'm going with Jean Makoun.
Number nine – The top man for me obviously has no second thoughts because it is Samuel Eto'o.
Number seven – This one here must be Luis Suarez who I played with at Ajax Amsterdam. Do I need to say more?

Number eleven – On the left I'm just wondering who I can go with...it must be Urby Emanuelson.
