Moroka Swallows head coach Steve Komphela says he enjoyed how his side posed tactical questions to Orlando Pirates with their new way of possession football.
Swallows lost their second consecutive Soweto derby after a 2-0 defeat to Pirates, who scored through Evidence Makgopa in the first stanza and an own goal by Sipho Sibiya in the second stanza killed off the game.
Komphela says he was pleased with his side's performance and feels they could have defended the two goals better.

"For whatever reason, it's a match that you lose but still feel comfortable. Under normal circumstances after a defeat we tend to be philosophical and try to spin things and say things in riddles," Komphela told SuperSport TV.
"But to be honest with you, I'm happy for the players who got an opportunity to play. There were also clear tactical questions that they posed, we had to respond.
"There were also a lot of tactical questions we posed and expecting answers from them, if you remove the two goals that I think we gave away cheaply, we could have done better on the first goal and second goal.
"Above all, the lessons I got from this match, how much guts, how much balls, how much strength, how brave are they, to start when we are high on their box?"
The former Chiefs coach continued and urged South African supporters to move with the game and not be left behind to what they are always used to, as for the second consecutive game, the Birds were punished for trying to play out from the back.
"It's beautiful to watch, that's where the game is going. The beauty of an English supporter is the ability to track and stay with the development of the game, which is different to many other nations, they stay behind as the game evolves," he went on.
"A big challenge for everyone in South Africa is may we all evolve with the game and not be in denial and the fact that it's not familiar, the fact that you don't understand it does not necessarily make it wrong; it's only a matter of time you'll understand why it's happening. We're doing it.
"As a coach I enjoyed it, victory on their side, congratulations, they did well, they deserve it. I enjoyed it. I'm gonna watch this match again and learn from it, we didn't lose, we learn," he added.
