United Arab Emirates giants Al Wahda have officially confirmed their new interim head coach.
The Middle Eastern club recently parted ways with Manolo Jimenez on Sunday after languishing in fourth position.
In an official statement, Al-Wahda revealed that the highly-rated Arno Buitenweg will takeover from the Spanish head coach.
"Al-Wahda Football Company terminates its contract with coach Jimenez." the statement read from Twitter.
"Al-Wahda Football Club announces the termination of the contract of the coach of the first team, Spain's Manuel Jimenez and his staff, with the technical director of the club's academy, "Arno Buitenweg", temporarily taking over the job."

Sheikh Diab bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Al-Wehda Sports and Cultural Club is said to have phoned the technical director Arno Buitenweg to inform him of the decision.

The UAE club are currently sitting in fourth position and five points behind Shabab Al Ahli.
Buitenweg has previously worked with LaLiga side RCD Mallorca, where he spent five years in multiple roles, including as football co-ordinator, while he also took charge of Qatar's U17 team between 2013 and 2017.
The 51-year-old has an AFC Pro Licence and UEFA A Licence, which allows him to coach at the highest level on the Asian and European continents.
