Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau made his long-awaited return for Al Ahly on Sunday as the Egyptian giants maintained their 100% record in the league this season.
Having recorded a 1-0 win over rivals Ismaily on the opening day of the Egyptian Premier League campaign, Al Ahly maintained their perfect start to the season by defeating Aswan by the same scoreline during Sunday's league encounter.

The record 42-time champions recorded the win following a 17th-minute penalty from Tunisia international Ali Maâloul in a match during which Bafana Bafana star Percy Tau made his long-awaited return to the pitch.
Tau had been sidelined since August after sustaining a hamstring injury in August and had missed a large part of the club's pre-season preparations prior to making a four-minute cameo against Aswan.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns star entered as a late substitute for Mohamed Magdi Kafsha and played his part to help the club secure all three points on the day.
It is anticipated that the 28-year-old will be slowly reintegrated into the first-team in order to avoid the risk of re-injury, although local reports suggest he could play a more prominent role in Friday's Super Cup clash against Zamalek.
Tau played a hand in 14 goals in 31 appearances for Al Ahly last season, scoring eight and assisting a further six in his debut campaign in the Egyptian capital.
