Inter Milan booked their spot in the UEFA Champions League final with a thrilling 4-3 win over FC Barcelona in the semi-final second leg on Tuesday night.
The two sides had it all to play for in the second leg after playing to a 3-3 draw in Catalonia last week.
Robert Lewandowski returned from injury but only started on the bench as Ferran Torres joined Raphinha and Lamine Yamal in the attack once again, while Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram and Denzel Dumfries returned for Inter after being rested at the weekend.
Martinez, who recovered from an injury, got the opening goal on 21 minutes after the Argentine turned home a cross from Dumfries, who broke free on the right side of the box.
It got worse for the Catalan giants before the interval after Hakan Calhanoglu converted a penalty after the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) intervened for Pau Cubarsi's challenge on Martinez in the box.
Barcelona gave themselves some hope in the 54th minute when Eric Garcia snuck in ahead of his marker to turn home Gerard Martin's cross with a lovely finish that gave goalkeeper Yann Sommer no chance.
The comeback was complete six minutes later after Dani Olmo got on the end of Martin's inch-perfect cross and headed home from around eight yards out.
The Catalan giants were in the ascendancy and got the third goal in the 87th minute courtesy of a composed finish from Raphinha, who has now scored 15 goals in the tournament this season.
The visitors thought they had found the winner until Inter popped up with the equaliser in the 93rd minute when Dumfries bagged his second assist of the game by picking out Francesco Acerbi, who found the back of the net with a first-time finish.
Inter went on to grab the winning goal in first half of extra-time, with Davide Frattesi showing great composure to find the bottom corner in a crowded box after some good work by Thuram and Mehdi Taremi.
