Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has opened up on the shock Club Brugge result and why Thibaut Courtois was hauled off at the break has been revealed.
The 13-time European champions were stunned at the Santiago Bernabéu as the Belgian outfit held a two-goal lead at the break after a brace from Nigeria striker Emmanuel Dennis.

And Zidane, feels the opening goal in particular, in which Percy Tau grabbed the assist, was a joke for his side to concede.
"It's a bad result, but the reaction was good. I can't be happy with the first half," Zidane told the club's website.
"We've never had a 45 minutes like that, but I'll take the reaction. At the end of the day I'm not happy with one point – we should have had three – but I'm happy with the reaction.
"You've seen the goal we gave away, it was a bit of a joke. It's not that we started badly but then we didn't concentrate when the opposition were able to hurt us.
"When they score first they grow in confidence, we fell away a bit and the second goal happened. In the end I'd rather think about the second 45. We can't be happy, but you need to always think about the positive."
Courtois, a high-profile signing from Chelsea last season has now conceded a staggering 81 goals in just 58 games, provoking widespread criticism.
And after conceding two goals agaist Brugge, his substitution at the break for Alphonse Areola provided a real talking point.
However, the club have since confirmed the Belgian was replaced due to a stomach bug, claiming he was unable to finish the game.
