Ahmed Musa promises more goals after Barcelona brace

The Premier League champions snapped up the services of the 23-year-old winger from CSKA Moscow for a reported fee of £16.6 million, and the Nigeria international has wasted little time in letting his presence be felt, after netting twice in the second half against the Nou Camp-based outfit.

"I am very happy to score two goals against Barcelona, even though I was also disappointed that we lost the game," Musa told AfricanFootball

"The goals are a signal of more good times and goals to come. I will continue to work hard to get as many goals as I can for the team."

Barcelona raced into a 3-0 half-time lead in their International Champions Cup match against Leicester, courtesy of goals by Munir El Haddadi (x2) and Luis Suarez, before Musa netted in the 48th and 66th minutes for Claudio Ranieri's side.

The Catalan giants would prove to have the last laugh, though, as they ran out 4-2 winners, with Rafa Mújica adding his name to the scoresheet in the 84th minute.
