Zlatan Ibrahimovic sets unique Serie A record

Ibrahimovic has been in imperious form since his return to Milan in January, having scored nine goals in 17 league appearances, including a brace in the club's 4-1 win over Sampdoria on Wednesday evening.

The former Sweden international's double saw him achieve the milestone of 50 league goals for the Rossoneri, having scored 42 times during his first stint with the club, and helped him write his name into the history books with a unique record.

The record 11-time Swedish Footballer of the Year has scored 131 Serie A goals in 236 appearances in total, spread across his spells in the Italian top flight with Juventus and the pair of Milan giants.
