An African star has seen his potential transfer to LaLiga giants Real Madrid collapse after being rejected by Los Blancos president Florentino Perez.
Nigeria and Atalanta dribbling talent Ademola Lookman was reportedly offered to the 15-time UEFA Champions League winners by his agents.
The 27-year-old forward moved to Italian Serie A team Atalanta from the German Bundesliga in August 2022 following his impressive season on loan at the English Premier League club Leicester City.

Lookman's move to Atalanta gave him the perfect setting to sharpen his abilities and demonstrate his full potential as his career has notably improved since that time.
The Super Eagles speedy winger has thus far netted 18 goals and provided seven assists in 32 games across all competitions for the Black and Blues.

As a result, a recent report from the Spanish publication Fichajes.Net stated that Lookman's representatives approached Madrid to secure him a deal amongst Europe's elite clubs.
However, Perez and the club's board have opted against pursuing a move for the Nigerian forward.
Nonetheless, several reports suggest that Premier League teams, including Manchester United and Liverpool amongst others, are eager to secure his signing.
