Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has revealed the latest regarding Lionel Messi's future at the club amid speculation linking him with a switch to Inter Miami, and admitted that another 2022 FIFA World Cup star is a on their radar too.
Messi has been widely linked with an exit from the French club over the past few months, with reports suggesting that Major Soccer League club Inter Miami are closing in on a move for the forward when his contract expires at the end of this campaign.

However, the 35-year-old's representatives recently dismissed claims that a departure from the Parc des Princes is already on the cards, insisting that the player has not yet made any decision on his future.
With the 2022 FIFA World Cup currently underway, all of the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner's focus is on the tournament, with a crunch quarter-final tie against the Netherlands next up on Friday evening.
If Messi does not sign a new deal with Les Parisiens before January, though, he will be legally allowed to sign a pre-contract with a new club outside of France from the new year.
Despite the threat of potentially losing the veteran, however, PSG president Al-Khelaifi is confident that talks on a new contract for the superstar will be successful.
"He's very happy, you can see that with the national team," the 49-year-old executive told Sky Sports News.
"If a player's not happy, you will see their performance not good for the national team. He performed fantastic this season for us, he's scored a lot of goals and assists for the national team and for the club.
"What we agreed together, that after the World Cup, [we] sit down together. But both sides – our side of the club and him – are very happy, so we will talk after the World Cup."

Khelaifi also revealed that PSG are seriously considering making a move for Manchester United and England star Marcus Rashford, who will soon enter the final six months of his deal at Old Trafford.
"He's another player that is really amazing – and for free?" he added.
"To have Rashford for free, every club would definitely run after him.
"We're not hiding it, we spoke before and there was interest. But the moment was not a good moment for both sides. Maybe summer, why not?
"Today, if he's a free agent, of course we can talk to him directly but we are not going to talk to him now.
"Let him focus on the World Cup. Then after, in January, hopefully, if we're interested we will talk to him."
