It has been suggested that there is a feud brewing between Lionel Messi and one of his Paris Saint-Germain teammates, despite the former having only joined the club in August.
The Argentina forward has been with the Ligue 1 club for about three months now, but it appears the six-time Ballon d'Or winner could be proving to be an enigma in the PSG dressing room.
Head coach Mauricio Pochettino had a run-in with Messi in September, when the star appeared to reject the opportunity to shake his manager's hand and making a gesture seemingly asking why he was being hauled off in response to being substituted off for Achraf Hakimi while Les Parisiens were chasing a goal against Olympique Lyon.
With the 34-year-old's brace against RB Leipzig on Tuesday night, the duo's relationship is seemingly in a much better space, with Messi now a vital cog in the French side's attack.

However, according to El Nacional, Pochettino is now having to contend with a "tense" relationship between Messi and striker Mauro Icardi as it is starting to cause a divide the dressing room.
The reported reasoning behind the feud is that the former Inter Milan striker's entourage had previously accused the Argentina captain of getting him kicked out of the national team – he last played for his country in 2018.
How Pochettino aims to solve this issue remains unknown, but Icardi was recently placed on leave for personal reasons, although this is understood to unrelated to his situation with Messi.

Meanwhile, The Sun has reported that Barca and Les Parisiens could attempt a swap deal in January, one that will see one of Messi's close friends, Sergio Aguero, join the Ligue 1 giants and Icardi go to the Camp Nou.
