Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wrote his name into football's history books after he found the back of the net three times in FC Barcelona's emphatic 4-1 win over Valencia.
The Gabon striker marked his first start with the Catalan giants by scoring a hat-trick against Los Che on Sunday after coming off the bench in his first two appearances in the Spanish top flight.
It was an eventful day for the ex-Arsenal star, who became only the second Barca player in this century to score a brace in his first LaLiga start, according to Opta Sports.

The only player who achieved that feat before the 32-year-old is Francisco Trincao, who scored a brace against Deportivo Alaves in February 2021.
Aubameyang is also now one of only four players who have scored in LaLiga, the Premier League, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 in the 21st century, per Goal.
