FIFA Agent makes 'bomb' Saudi claim over ElClasico duo

A FIFA agent has claimed that "there will be a bomb before the transfer window closes" involving two of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona's biggest stars.

The Saudi Pro League clubs' transfer spending in this window seem to know no bounds, with teams from the division still looking to lure more big names to the Gulf state before their window closes on 20 September.

Some of the country's flagship clubs have already poached players from European giants such as Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain, offering exorbitant amounts of cash to stars who are often in the latter stages of their careers, such as Neymar, Karim Benzema, and N'Golo Kante.

With FC Barcelona having already sold Franck Kessie to Al Ahli, it has now been suggested that another Public Investment Fund-owned team could go in for another Blaugrana star, as well as a Los Blancos veteran.

FIFA agent Marco Kirdemir has claimed that Real midfielder Toni Kroos and Barca striker Robert Lewandowski are now on the wanted list, with a shock transfer before the Saudi window closes on the cards.

"Al Hilal and Al Ittihad want Toni Kroos this season," the player representative said, according to Barca Universal.

"They also like Lewandowski a lot. There will be a bomb before the transfer window closes."

However, a move for Kroos may be complicated after the German openly criticised young Spanish star Gabri Veiga's shock move from Celta Vigo to Al Ahli this week, labelling the transfer as "embarrassing".

While it is unclear if Xavi Hernandez's side consider Lewandowski untouchable given their precarious financial status, Los Blancos head Carlo Ancelotti confirmed on Thursday that he was confident that no key players would depart before the close of the window.

"I think our squad is closed and our players are thinking about our season. Someone may change his mind but I am not afraid of that," the Italian told members of the press on Thursday, according to Madrid Universal
