Since arriving at Barcelona from Atletico Madrid in 2019, Griezmann has found himself at the centre of an apparent turf war with club captain Messi.
The reported tensions between the pair, which are said to have begun a year earlier when the France star initially rejected a move to Barca, looked to have boiled over last week following comments made to the media by his former agent.
Griezmann has now broken his silence on the matter, and denied that there was any rift between himself and the record six-time Ballon d'Or winner.
Griezmann also hit out at Olhats and his uncle, who had previously made disparaging remarks against Messi, stressing that neither of them speak on his behalf.
"He speaks because as neither my father nor my sister speaks to the press, they call him. But Leo knows that I have a lot of respect and admiration for him.
"[And] my uncle doesn't know how football works. And in the end, the journalist ended up getting the phrase out of him. I told Leo that I never speak to them, in fact, I don't even have my uncle's phone number."
