Ken Sema netted a hat-trick to steer Sweden to a thrilling 4-3 victory over North African giants Algeria at the Friends Arena in Stockholm.
The Swedes got the ball rolling in the opening stages through Ken Sema who finished off a pass from Jordan Larsson.
Sema continued his rich vein of form in front of goal and completed his brace with another stern finish just before the end of the first half.
The Desert Foxes continued falling apart in the second half as Sema lined-up from the penalty spot and completed a hat-trick, with Anton Saletros adding a fourth goal moments later.
However, the North Africans showed some fight and got one back through key men Ismael Bennacer and Yassine Benzia before Nabil Bentaleb tuck in from the spot, but it proved to be too little late.
England 1-3 Senegal
Thomas Tuchel suffered his first defeat as coach of England, who went down 3-1 to Senegal in an international friendly on Tuesday evening.
Captain Harry Kane continued his scoring form for club and country when he netted the opener in the seventh minute from good work by striker-partner Eze.
Senegal rallied themselves five minutes ahead of the break and duly levelled matters through Ismaila Sarr who finished off a delivery from Jackson.
The Three Lions struggled to hold their own in the second half and conceded again when Habib Diarra dispatched a layoff from ex-Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
England looked to have levelled later as substitute Jude Bellingham bundled in a loose ball from close-range, but the offside flag went up and disallowed the strike.
At the other end, the Teranga Lions put the clash to bed in added time when Cheikh Sabaly made a forward run to the area and steered in a delivery from the right-side.
