With the CAF Champions League campaign now done, Mamelodi Sundowns have immediately switched focus to the FIFA Club World Cup with the special transfer window now open.
As per the new FIFA regulations, Sundowns have until June 10 to make new registrations for the competition in USA, which will run from June 14 to July 13.

The Brazilians open their campaign in Group F against South Korean club Ulsan HD – who were the best-ranked eligible team in the Asian Football Confederation four-year ranking – on June 17 in Orlando.
Then, on June 21, they face Borussia Dortmund (Germany) in Cincinnati, before closing off their group stage campaign against Brazilian giants Fluminense four days later at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
Unlike the CAF Champions League, there are no expectations to lift the trophy, but they will still be expected to compete and possibly get out of the group into the Last 16.
That means they will have to put their best foot forward and with that it means making good use of the special window from June 1 to June 10.
Sundowns can sign new players during this window and still be able to take them to the USA, where they are expected to arrive early next week.
The domestic champions have so far been busy dusting off those that they will not need going forward, who include Reyaad Pieterse, Rivaldo Coetzee, Abubeker Nasir, and Sipho Mbule, amongst others.
Head coach Miguel Cardoso has pleaded with the club to cut down the numbers in his squad, which has been as big as 40 this season.
With all the outgoings at the club, Sundowns have a window of opportunity to bring in new squad members to take to the USA.

The most recent arrival at the club was Lebogang Mothiba, who made his debut in the Champions League final on Sunday.
Cardoso has identified his areas of interest in matters related to making new signings, but it is unlikely those incoming players will travel to the US.
