Just last term, he put in a shift of 29 appearances with a return of three goals playing as a central defender.

For the 2023/24 campaign, he played 28 games and scored thrice again.

With the financial terms on his contract not too heavy, the club has extended his stay amid interest from Tanzania and two clubs in the Betway Premiership.

Meanwhile, Sekhukhune have cut ties with Alves Ngakosso-Oko after his short stay at the club.

Ngakosso-Oko arrived late last year and was then registered during the January transfer window and went on to feature in nine games playing as a right wingback.

The option on his contract will not be renewed and he will leave on a free with the club choosing to open foreign space for the arrival of other players that they have identified.
