United suffered a shock defeat to bottom club Sheffield United on Wednesday evening but remain firmly within the title race with just one point behind leaders Manchester City - who have one game in hand.
But the optimism remains intact after the Red Devils revived their season that looked doomed after a 6-1 thrashing at the hands of Jose Mourinho's Tottenham at Old Trafford back in October.
And speaking to BT Sport, Pogba has offered insight into their early-season struggles and how their season enjoyed a dramatic turnaround under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
"The mentality, playing more as a team," Pogba said in a conversation with Rio Ferdinand. "Playing much better altogether, pressing much better together.
"No one is cheating. When I mean cheating - no one is running less or not making the effort to come back. It's always been a problem. When you're all together it's always going to be easier.
"If someone is making less effort, it's going to be a little problem for the team. When you're all together, you all work hard, you see the result."
