Following Callum Hudson-Odoi's arrest on the weekend, new reports have emerged claiming the Chelsea winger was taken into custody on suspicion of rape.
On Sunday morning, Hudson-Odoi was taken into custody after police and emergency services received a call from a woman at his residence claiming to feel unwell.

It was initially believed that the Chelsea star, who tested positive for the coronavirus in March, was arrested for inviting the woman over despite ongoing lockdown restrictions in England, but it has now been claimed that the 19-year-old has been accused of rape.
"Police and London Ambulance Service were called at 03:53hrs on Sunday, 17 May, to a report of an unwell woman," a police spokesperson said, as reported by the Daily Mail.
"When emergency services attended, a woman reported that she was raped. She was taken to hospital. A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of rape. He was released from custody and bailed to return on a date in mid-June."

Prior reports had revealed how, after exchanging flirtatious messages, Hudson-Odoi had arranged for the woman to be collected by a driver and dropped off at his home.
The England international has since been released on bail and will appear in court in June.
