Simba confirm Bernard Morrison signing

As earlier reported by snl24.com/kickoff, former Orlando Pirates midfielder Bernard Morrison has completed a move to Simba SC from Tanzanian rivals Yanga SC.

Morrison was recently arrested in Dar Es Salaam allegedly for having been found in possession of marijuana in his car. However, the former AS Vita star was later released on bail.

This website caught wind of the controversy surrounding his arrest, which was said to be an attempt to derail his plans of leaving Yanga for sworn rivals Simba.

Wekundu wa Msimbazi on Saturday confirmed the signing of the 27-year-old Ghanaian ahead of the 2020/21 season, where he will now join another former Buccaneer in club CEO Senzo Mbatha.

Efforts to get hold of Mbatha to confirm details of the player's deal with the club proved futile at the time of compiling this story.

Morrison left Pirates after two season in July 2018, when he infamously snubbed a move to Chippa United. Simba has now become the seventh club of his professional career, which started out in Ghana eight years ago.
