Former FC Barcelona and Inter Milan star Samuel Eto'o was elected president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot) on Saturday.
Interim presidet Seidou Mbombo Njoya and Eto'o were the final two candidates after five others had opted out.
Eto'o won the election at the Hotel Mont Febe on Saturday afternoon and he will oversee next year's Africa Cup of Nations which will take place in Cameroon.
