Bitter as the outcome of a case brought before the SAFA arbitration is for them, Cape Town City have fallen into acceptance mode with their fate set to be decided by the dreaded play-offs.

Floodlights failure at Lucas Moripe Stadium led to the chaotic situation that saw the fixture resume last Thursday, four days after interested observers, 15th-placed Cape Town City, had completed their season.
The Citizens' boss, John Comitis, has been vocal about how unfair he felt the situation was for his team, with equally troubled Matsatsantsa knowing what they needed to do to avoid the play-offs instead of playing at the same time as them.
"What happened yesterday is that we contested the view of the Disciplinary Committee, arguing that they didn’t have the authority to call a resumed game 48 hours later because they could not replicate the conditions of the original match," explains Comitis, speaking to KickOff.com.
"They should have either ordered a replay, if that was within their powers, or declared it a forfeiture due to SuperSport United being the guilty party.

"We've accepted the decision, we have no choice.
