Rwanda national team head coach Adel Amrouche has sent a clear warning to Nigeria ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Saturday evening.
Amrouche's charges currently sit in third spot in Group C after Benin defeated Zimbabwe on Friday night, while Nigeria find themselves in fourth position.

The Super Eagles know that only a win will suffice if they any hopes of catching group leaders South Africa, who they face on Tuesday.
However, the Rwandans are not planning to make things easy for Nigeria at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
“When you play the super Eagles you must respect your opponent and we must respect ourselves. Because we have the mentality to move forward, see forward and be at the top," Amrouche said, as per Pan Africa Football.
“Our task is to bring that winning mentality, it’s our job. We didn’t come here to be nice we have our dream to be one of the teams representing Africa.”
Rwanda captain Djihad Bizimana echoed those sentiments and insists they have no problem being the underdogs.
“The underdog (label) I don’t accept. We are also a team that can compete, we showed it the last time that we were here. We are coming here to play good football and try to win the game. Because if you see on the table we have a chance if we win. We have a chance to qualify for the World Cup.”
