Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Caleb Bimenyimana has joined a new club in Saudi Arabia.

Bimenyimana was recently confirmed to have parted ways with USM Alger after spending less than six months at the club.

His departure from the Algerian side is not the first time he has been released prematurely, having also experienced similar exits at Chiefs and Iranian side Zob Ahan.

Nevertheless, Bimenyimana has secured another move, this time to the Saudi Arabian second tier.

The Burundi international has officially signed for Jeddah SC, although the duration of his contract remains undisclosed.

Jeddah finished 10th in the Saudi second division in 2024/25, their highest-ever finish, and have never played in the Saudi Pro League.

According to Transfermarkt, Bimenyimana is now the club's most valuable player, with a market value of €350,000 (approximately R7.2 million).

A familiar name to South African audiences who once played for Jeddah SC is Hassan Mawanda Wasswa, who featured for FC Cape Town between 2008 and 2010 — a club now known as Ubuntu Football Club.
