Lesotho coach Leslie Notsi has wished Nyiko Mobbie and Thabo Moloisane well after the duo were forced off during a physical contest in Bloemfontein.
The neighbouring nation were buoyant prior to the clash following a creditable draw against Rwanda in their last qualifier in March.

The clash was very physical from the start as Bafana had Nyiko Mobbie stretchered off after five minutes and it was expected given the off-field tensions before the encounter.
“Yes, it was very physical and one was expecting that considering what’s been happening behind you know before the game and I wish all the players who got injured a speedy recovery," Notsi told SABC Sport.
“And I believe our supporters are satisfied in terms of how our players conducted themselves. They fought for the ball and I think going forward the team will do better next time.
Despite the loss, all augurs well for Likoena who will take the positives from the encounter and build on it as the team gave a good account of themselves.
“Yes, it wasn’t the final result we were looking for but all in all there a lot of good attributes that we can take from this game. Our boys gave their all, and unfortunately, we conceded goals we believe we shouldn’t have and going forward now we have to prepare for the next Tuesday’s match,” he said.
“So, we need fresh legs, we need to minimise unforced errors in terms of passing and decision-making I think that’s the area we really have to work on. All in all, the boys gave their best and played against Bafana I think there’s a lot of good things that came out of the game,” Notsi added.
