Nigeria head coach Eric Chelle has named his preliminary squad for next month's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.
The Super Eagles will quickly have to put their African Nations Championship (CHAN) disappointment aside, as Chelle now has to get the team ready for the World Cup qualifiers.

Nigeria face must-win encounters in September, as they currently sit six points behind Group C leaders Bafana Bafana.
Unsurprisingly, Victor Osimhen headlines the 31-man preliminary squad, which also includes Chippa United goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, Ademola Lookman and Victor Boniface.
