Al Ahly president Mahmoud Al-Khatib is willing to be patient with head coach Jose Riveiro, according to one of the club's former stars.

The Spanish tactician did face a bit of criticism after the opening day draw, especially after failing to win any of their group games at the FIFA Club World Cup.
