One of Africa's biggest teams has been linked with a shock move for ex-Manchester City and Inter Milan star Mario Balotelli.
According to Kora Plus, in their hopes of continuing their dominance on the continent, Al Ahly were considering signing the Italian striker.

The Club of the Century has already bolstered their attacking options this off-season with the acquisitions of Emam Ashour from Danish side FC Midtjylland and Reda Slim from Moroccan champions FAR Rabat, and are looking to add more reinforcements to their playing roster.
Balotelli, now 32, currently plies his trade in Switzerland with Sion, and scored six goals in 18 appearances for the Swiss Super League side last season.
While that may not be as prolific as some of his previous campaigns in Europe, Ahly were reported to be looking into the opportunity to sign him in recent days.
However, while there was said to be a genuine ambition to land the 2009/10 UEFA Champions League winner's signature, it appeared the transfer would be near-impossible for the record CAF Champions League winners to complete, with the same report claiming that the Palermo native is just too expensive for the club, especially given his age.
