REPORT: African giant submits offer for Rulani

According to reports from Egypt, Rulani Mokwena has received an offer to coach another North African club.

On Tuesday, Mokwena officially ended his association with Wydad Athletic Club, with both parties confirming their amicable separation in a joint statement.

Mokwena lasted just one season as Wydad boss, although he did not see out the final three matches of the campaign, having been granted a special leave of absence.

Mokwena's reputation remains strong, it seems, as he is already being linked with several roles.

While some reports suggest his former club Orlando Pirates could be a potential destination following Jose Riveiro's departure, it is now claimed that he could remain in North Africa.

According to Arabic publication Radio Mars, Zamalek SC have offered Mokwena an opportunity to coach the club.

The Egyptian club recently parted ways with Jose Peseiro and are now searching for a new coach.

Reports in Egypt also suggest that the club have compiled a managerial shortlist dominated by foreign candidates.

Zamalek also reportedly consider coach Pitso Mosimane a potential candidate to take over the reins.
