It is now reported that a certain African star is open to joining a South African club.
Several African players have already completed moves to the Betway Premiership during the current transfer window.
These include Zambian goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata, who joined Sekhukhune United, and Botswana's Kitso Mangolo, who signed with Richards Bay.

An even larger influx of players from outside South Africa is still rumoured to be on the way to the Betway Premiership.
One of the latest stars linked with such a move is Burkina Faso international Farid Ouedraogo.
The imposing goalkeeper currently plays for AS Vita Club in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and his contract is reportedly nearing its imminent end.
According to AfricaFoot, Ouedraogo could join Chippa United for the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.
The 28-year-old will be out of contract at AS Vita on 8 August, and AfricaFoot claims he has already decided not to renew his deal, as he is keen on a move to South Africa.
No formal agreement is in place yet, but Chippa are said to be facing competition from Tanzanian clubs, with both Azam FC and Simba SC mooted as potential suitors.
Chippa could be in the market for a suitable successor to current number one Stanley Nwabali, who is still reportedly expected to leave the club should a good offer come in.
