With Njabulo Blom having recently completed a shock move to Vietnam, it has been revealed that two other South Africans have previously played in the country, both of whom are former Orlando Pirates players.
Last week, Blom surprised many when he made the switch from St. Louis City to Nam Dinh FC in the Vietnamese top flight.

Upon his arrival, the versatile midfielder immediately became the most valuable player in V.League 1, with a market valuation of €950,000 (approximately R19.5 million), according to Transfermarkt.
The move came as a surprise to many, as Blom had just completed a season-long loan at boyhood club Kaizer Chiefs, where he secured his first-ever major piece of silverware.
Nevertheless, Blom now plays for the reigning champions of Vietnam. It has since emerged that he is the third South African footballer to feature in the Asian country.
Former Pirates and Bafana Bafana star Jabulani Mnguni was the first South African to join a Vietnamese club, signing for SLNA FC back in 2004.
In 2006, another former Buccaneer, Philani Kubheka, joined Binh Duong FC and went on to spend eight seasons at the club before moving to Malaysia.
