The promising shot-stopper has been drafted into Ghana's squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome Principe and took time to address previous accusations of age cheating that were made against him.
Danlad, who is on loan at King Faisal from Asante Kotoko, made headlines in 2017 when he featured for Ghana at the U-17 FIFA World Cup side at the age of 14, before later starring at the previous two editions of the U-20 AFCON.
"I was feeling very bad because I was fighting for my country and my people are doing this to me on social media and everywhere It affected me and it showed in our game against Mali which I even made a mistake and we got eliminated from the competition"
"But now I have grown to accept that criticism is part of the job as Neymar always says it. So now it doesn't worry me at all when people make those accusations against me."
Danlab most recently featured for Ghana at the U-20 AFCON tournament in Mauritania where he helped guide the Black Satellites to a fourth title, while earning himself a spot in the Team of the Tournament.
