Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly splashed the cash one of the rarest supercars in the world to celebrate his 36th birthday this month.
Ronaldo reached the billionaire dollar status in his career earning in 2020 and often showcases his lavish lifestyle on social media, which has seen him become the most followed account on Instagram.
This popularity has also seen him become the highest earner on the social media application which is simply a portion of his astronomical earnings from wages and endorsements which Forbes reports stands at $105-million (R15bn) a year.
How did he celebrate?
According to Gulf Today, Ronaldo is said to have ordered the new Bugatti Centodieci for a staggering R142m, which becomes the latest supercar in his ever-expanding collection.
The Juventus superstar bought the Veyron, Chiron and the La Voiture Noire in years gone by, with his last purchase said to have been in the range of R264m.
Reserved for the elite
It's been reported that only 10 Centodieci's will be produced and Ronaldo is one of those who've secured the incredible supercar which can be seen in the gallery below.
Bugatti is believed to have started official production in January with the release date set for 2022 after the first prototype was given the go-ahead by the Italian car manufacturer.
Based on the official statement the latest masterpiece is inspired by the iconic EB110 and was designed to celebrate its 110th anniversary.
With a classic wedge shape and a W16 engine, the Centodieci 'transports' the EB110 into the modern era.
