Bosnian Belgian striker Dzenan Zajmovic has confirmed his desire to continue in the Betway Premiership while also detailing the visa issues for his family.

Zajmovic led the Galaxy forward line with aplomb to score 11 goals in only his first season in South Africa.

The 30-year-old confirms that he terminated with Galaxy two days ago having signed a two-year deal with an option of a further year when he joined in September 2024.

"Two clubs have already contacted from the PSL," Zajmovic tells KickOff.com from Bosnia-Herzegovina.

"South Africa is a nice country with a good league, and I would love to continue playing there at a new club.

"I felt at home and will never shut a door for anything to do with South Africa, and my wife and kids know about it.

"It was an amazing experience being in South Africa.

"Football was good, and the life was also the same, so there was a connection to being in a good mental space and playing football.

"Unfortunately, there was issues with visas for my wife and my two kids.

"It was complicated, but I hope it will be fixed.

"There was an issue, but I don’t want to drop names of people here even though I paid the money for the process.

"Fact is that someone didn’t do the job well.

"The visa agent took a big amount of money from my pocket and didn’t do a thing, but maybe there could be an option B to get the visa fixed for my family.

"So, I don’t know because it is supposed to be an easier process when you have Belgian (European Union) passports, which my family use.

"If South Africa doesn’t work out, then I must consider other plans.

"I have explained the same thing to the two clubs that have approached me," says Zajmovic, who was born in Belgium but is of Bosnian origin.
