The 32-year-old, who has played 11 matches in all competitions so far this season, has been absent from the club after having a fallout with head coach Kaitano Tembo.
Last week the former Bafana Bafana international appeared at the club's disciplinary hearing for his actions, where it was agreed that the player should honour his contract.
Phala was looking for a move in the January transfer window, with reported interest from Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Highlands Park.
Asked by snl24.com/kickoff what the outcome of the DC was, Suzan said: “He’s still contracted to SuperSport.
“They've agreed [to honour the contract]. He is still there with SuperSport up until his contract ends. I think from Monday he will start training."
Asked for a comment, the club's media officer Brian Moshoeshoe said a statement was going to be released in due course.
"The club will release a statement about the whole situation, but for now we can't comment on anything as yet," he said. "We will release a statement in due time."
