Mamelodi Sundowns legend Roger Feutmba hails the club's decision to extend Anthony Laffor's contract

There’s been a lot of speculation about the Liberian’s future, but that all ended when he announced last week that he has extended his contract which was due to expire in June.

The former SuperSport United and Jomo Cosmos has signed a two-year extension following his impressive performances since returning from the injuries which kept him out of the team in the first half of the season.

Feutmba says Sundowns made a good choice to hold on to the the five-time Absa Premiership winners.

“Anthony Laffor has proven for many years that he is a very good player. The good thing about him is that he is confident. Even though sometimes he comes from the bench, he makes sure he brings change and that he has a huge impact in the team,” Feutmba tells snl24.com/kickoff.

“For me I have no problem with Sundowns giving him a contraxt extention because I believe that he deserves it. You must remember that he also has a lot of experience when it comes to international experience and all that. It’s a good choice to keep him around.”

The 33-year-old has played 11 matches in all competitions, with three goals and one assist.
