Ntshangase has joined SuperSport on a one-year loan deal after being deemed surplus to requirements by Wits mentor Gavin Hunt.
The midfielder has already started training with Matsatsanta and is available for their MTN8 quarter-final clash with Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium on Saturday (20h30 kick-off).
"We brought him [Ntshangase] in because of depth. We also like him because of his versatility," said Tembo.
"We have [Jamie] Webber, who is injured, out for four to six weeks. We have Siyabonga Nhlapo, who is also a right-back, out injured for four to six weeks.
"We are a little bit short but Ntshangase comes in because of his versatility. He can play as a right-back and can also play as a midfielder, and that is why we opted for him."
The Tshwane giants have also added highly-rated Zambian forward Ghampani Lungu, Bongani Khumalo, James Keene, Washington Arubi and Luke Fleurs to their roster for 2018/19.
