Highlands Park hand trial to Ivorian defender Joseph

Joseph joins Mandla Masango and Jabulani Shongwe, who are also currently on trial with Park.

The Lions of the North have already signed midfielder Enocent Mkhabela, who was a free agent after he parted ways with National First Division side Cape Umoya United last season.

Highlands Park coach Owen Da Gama confirms the presence of an Ivorian player in their camp.

"There is a boy from Ivory Coast, Joseph, that is on trial. We are assessing him," says Da Gama.

"It's very difficult to assess players and also prepare for a league game at the same time," he adds.

Highlands Park are in cup action next and travel to Cape Town for a Nedbank Cup quarter-final against Cape Town City on Friday night.
