Motebejani has been training with the club since pre-season and was part of the Arrows side that defeated Maritzburg United in the quarter-finals of the KZN Premier's Cup at KwaMashu's Princess Magogo Stadium.
The 23-year-old was last term on the books of National First Division side Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC. He featured in 27 games and scored once for Sello Chokoe's side.
"He's (Motebejane) still training with us but we are due to sign him," Abafana Bes'thende coach Clinton Larsen tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"At this stage there's a very real possibility that we'll sign him."
The Tzaneen-born defender was one of the most promising players to come out of the 2016 SAB National League play-offs held in Limpopo. Afterwards he was signed by Pirates alongside Yusuf Maart, who represented the Western Cape at the time.
However, Motebejane only played one season with Bucs in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge before he departed at the beginning of last season to sign for TTM.
