Lebese was linked with a move back to Amakhosi after enduring a tough season-and-a-half at Mamelodi Sundowns due to a lack of game-time.
The Mamelodi-born attacking midfielder has since joined Matsatsantsa on loan from Sundowns and could make his first start for Kaitano Tembo's side this week.
"It's just that people loved me whilst I was still there [at Naturena] and would have loved to see me going back, but it was never an option," said Lebese.
"There was no form of communication [with Kaizer Chiefs]. It was clear from the word go.
"I was looking for an opportunity and now I have an opportunity [at SuperSport] and that's really the main goal."
Lebese made his debut for SuperSport off the bench against Golden Arrows in a league game in Durban two weekends ago and has hailed his new environment as a "paradise".
"It's been good judging where I come from. It feels like paradise, I am very happy," said the former Amakhosi star.
"I have a fair opportunity to fight for my place now and obviously I am not expecting to just walk into the team because there are so many quality players."
