Free agent Bokang Tlhone looking for new club after Maritzburg United contract terminated

Tlhone terminated his contract with United on the last day of the January transfer window, according to sources close to the player.

The former Bidvest Wits defender is currently in possession of his clearance certificate and is free to sign with any team.

"Tlhone is a free agent. He terminated his contract with Maritzburg United on the last day of the transfer window period," the source tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"His agent or the club are the only people who can give you full information," he adds.

Thlone's manager Machine Motloung confirmed that his client is on the lookout for a new job.

"Everything was done in good faith. Maritzburg United showed a high level of professionalism. There was no bad blood between the two parties," says Motloung.

"He is a talented player and we are hopeful that he will get a new deal soon."
