Orlando Pirates and Adidas have unveiled their new home and away kits for the 2021/22 season as vintage meets modern for the new designs.
The home kit screams tradition with the black classic colours and look but the embossed skull imprinted on the jersey provides a unique feel to the latest strip.

But in the away design, a more creative element with a bold mint colour was opted for, which breaks against tradition again following last season's striking orange design.
The white cuffs and V-neck style shit is said to be the idea of surprising fans with 'unexpected ideas' as they look towards progression on and off the pitch in this coming campaign.
"Orlando Pirates is a unique team with a unique history in South African football," the club's media officer Thandi Merafe said via the official website.
"We wanted to keep the design of this season's kit simple, but bold enough to reflect the expectation of the Club for the coming season, and that is to win. We want to give our players and supporters a sense of pride when they put on this season's jersey.
Bob Maphosa, Sports Marketing Manager for Adidas South Africa added: "Orlando Pirates is a Club that stands for creativity and innovation, so we focused on bringing a new and unique element to this season's kit, whilst staying true to the Club's heritage."
The new home kit will be worn for the first time during the Carling Black Label Cup for the season curtain-raiser on 1 August but is already available for purchase to fans.
