PUMA has unveiled a new boot which is set to be worn by Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar, as well as the DStv Premiership's top ballers, Themba Zwane and Teboho Mokoena. Here's a look.
The story
With Neymar being the posterchild of German sportswear maker PUMA, he is set to be joined by the brand's main faces in South Africa in debuting the new FUTURE 1.4 Fastest edition.
On Thursday, PUMA announced in a statement that their new release will be soon worn by the aforementioned Mamelodi Sundowns duo as well as the likes of Ethan Brooks, Keagan Buchanan and Sibusiso Mabiliso ahead of the new season.

What makes the boot special?
Boots are becoming lighter and lighter, as innovative technology coupled with the demands of the modern-day footballer means that agility, adaptability and comfortability are key elements in the design of soccer footwear.
PUMA has now encompassed all of those elements in their stylish release. "The second-generation FUZIONFIT+ technology adapts to the shape of your foot to give you the perfect balance of support and flexibility in each of the key zones, ensuring optimal fit and performance, with or without laces," PUMA said in an official statement supplied to KickOff.
"The adaptive compression technology perfectly adjusts to the contours of each foot. Paired with a lightweight Nano Grip sockliner insole, the technology minimizes foot slippage inside the boot, allowing you to maintain power transfer for explosive multi-directional movements."
