Supporters Forum: Moroka Swallows' Mkhulu

In this edition of Supporters Forum, KickOff speaks to Moroka Swallows die-hard fan Eric Nkosi about his long-standing affair with the Dube Birds.

Name of supporter?

"My name is Eric Nkosi, I'm popularly known as Mkhulu A E I O U, which is also my stage name in music.

"I own a music studio in Baragwanath Taxi Rank. I used to be a taxi driver."

Club supported?

"I have never supported any club besides Swallows. I fell in love with the club when they came to play against Chiawelo Invitational XI."

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA - AUGUST 30: Tshegofats

How long supported?

"Since 1964."

Are you happy with the bosses?

"Yes, I am happy because nobody is perfect. Constantly criticizing the team will only take us backward and destroy our progress."

Are you happy with the coach?

"I'm very happy with our coach, we are getting there. The Sundowns type of football we are playing these days will take us far.

"Don't run with the ball, just share it with your teammates."

JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA - SEPTEMBER 15: Moroka

Are you happy with the players?

"Yes, I am. My only concern is the way our coach is utilising Gabadinho Mhango. I prefer him to start matches and not come on in the second half.

"The coach needs to understand Mhango is short-tempered, he ends up making unnecessary fouls and pushing the opposition players if he comes on as a substitute."

Moroka Swallows striker Tshegofatso Mabasa has rec

Who do you want them to sign?

"Caleb Bimeninyama, the former Kaizer Chiefs striker. Being a striker is not all about scoring. Defenders don't find time to rest playing against Caleb."

Your message to the team?

"They must continue doing what they are doing."
